Work Title: Digital Marketing Strategist and Fashion & Lifestyle Blogger
Hometown City: Vancouver

Work Life:
My cats usually wake me up about 2 hours before my alarm to get fed and then I jump back into bed for an hour or so. I either hit up a group fitness class at YYoga then shower or shower and tackle emails while watching Kelly & Ryan. Simultaneously, I’m eating breakfast and I’m powering through the morning talk shows because they’re my guilty pleasure! My days are always different and I could be spending it, writing blog posts, creating content, having a photo shoot, seeing my friends, more emails, client marketing work, etc. My days really are about juggling. I’m doing my day-to-day work but also running errands and keeping the house in shape. The day ends with my favorite tv shows or movies and asleep by 10PM or 11PM.

Q. What’s more likely to be in your cup? Chai or Coffee and why?
A. Chai! I’ve been eliminating coffee from my diet in the last year and reach more for a tea than a coffee. I also have been cutting out caffeine from my diet but I can’t resist a good cup of Chai.

Q. If you were on a jet plane right now, where would you be headed?
A. I would like to say somewhere tropical but that’s never the case. Probably… New York.

Q. Tell us one thing that not everyone may know about you.
A. My social butterfly persona is a mask to my super introverted side. I really like being at home, recharging.

Q. If you won the lottery at this very moment, what would be next for you?
A. That’s so hard to say! I would keep working but it would be more for fun. I don’t do well if my efforts aren’t being put towards something. Winning the lottery could help take my blogging career to another level so I could focus on that.

Q. Tell us your three favourite things about being an Award Winning Vancouver fashion blogger.
1. People are inspired by my thoughts.
2. I have the power to impact readers with positivity and how to live a more conscious life.
3. Recognition from my peers.

Q. What motivated you to start your own blog?
A. I just really wanted something to call my own, where I could put my thoughts to web-paper. It was an outlet that I needed to become more creative.

Q. What do you think is the most underrated thing or a misconception that people may have when it comes to lifestyle influencers?
A. The most underrated thing is that everyone thinks it’s very easy to do what we do. There are moments where it is but 90% of the time it’s a lot of work, dedication and hustle. Keeping it up can be overwhelming. A misconception is that we write about everything because we’re getting paid. Getting paid to blog is far between for some of us and speaking for myself, I only write about products I would actually use.

Q. What kind of advice would you offer to someone who is new to the blogger world and just getting started?
A. Try it all and try it now! There’s a pretty great community of bloggers all across North America that can become your new circle and you’ll learn a lot from.

Q. If you could offer one piece of advice to high school Randa about grown-up Randa, what would you say?
A. Don’t sweat it.
