Why You Should Celebrate Your Wins

I recently spoke about taking the time to celebrate your wins on one of my Instagram post a few days back. If you’ve been following along with me, I’ve finally started to carve out time for working out and I’ve been doing this with Booty By Mich

Although my form isn’t perfect, I’m always out of breath and I feel like my legs are going to fall off…. I’m PROUD that I’m finally doing something that I’ve literally talked about for so long. Hence celebrating one of my WINS! Setting your mind to something and following through and the sense of accomplishment it brings is something that’s almost indescribable.

In our lives, there are so many distractions and noise especially with social media evolving. The likeness of people always comparing themselves to others is continuing to increase. This puts us in a position to have our hearts and heads wrecked. Taking a moment to sift through the noise and to celebrate YOU and your WINS is the best thing you can do. To actually give yourself credit and have a moment of reflection is having a moment of clarity. Being present and mindful is a beautiful thing.

Celebrating your wins can be as little as completing your list of to do’s or it can be as significant as graduating university or losing 30 pounds. Whatever your specific situation is, just make sure to be proud of yourself and GIVE yourself credit for all of your hard work. We tend to compare our accomplishments to others or gauge our goals and achievements in accordance to our age. When the truth is… comparison is really the thief of all joy. It takes away the power to celebrate your wins and to celebrate you!

I challenge you to reflect on your life for the next 14 days and to celebrate your wins big or small. Comment below to let me know which wins your celebrating today!
